ReplyDelete1) My reflection regarding the article is that I believe micro credits prove to have great benefits for people who are in need. In addition, micro credits can be put used to verify credit worthiness when dealing with business agencies. Moreover, micro credits can alleviate poverty, providing a greater stability in the business as well as household.
2) When I become the ministry of tourism in my country,I will change the tourism on the National Level to depict more positive images of the famous attractions in Myanmar and Destination Level, particularly, Mogok which is located in the Shan State to permit foreigners into the city so as they can observe the best gemstones especially ruby and sapphire. Moreover, 90% of the world's rubies come from Myanmar.
3)As minister, my concrete action should be to eliminate:
a. Poor transportation
In the middle of streets and bumpy roads, old taxis and broken down buses are being repaired leading to unpredictable accidental occurrences. Since most foreigners live in countries where roads are in superb condition whereas highways in Myanmar are only of acceptable quality due to poor maintenance. Taxis and buses are not up to the standard which are of discomfort to the passengers.
b. Forced Labour
Many people are still subjected to forced labour in Myanmar. Most of the restaurants, hotels and recreation centers have recruited people from the villages to work for them on low wages. Many organizations and tourists are opposed to the practice of "forced labour."
3. Environmental Issues
Tourism conveys an environmental cost in Burma for the luxury hotels constructed for foreign tourists use up an immense amount of resources in a country where the electrical power is very low. Ancient religious sites have been renovated hence destroying the history, culture and it's natural surroundings.
Introducing new measures to develop tourism :
a. Construction of five stars standard hotel
b. Easy and Applicable Visa
c. Introduction of new routes or airlines.
